MerCure EHR
Why Go EHR?
In 2004, President Bush launched an initiative to make electronic health records available to most
Americans within the next 10 years. With electronic health records, information needed to treat
patients effectively will be a computer click away, no matter where the patient is receiving care.

Why Go MerCure?
MerCure was initially designed by a physician who, after using another EHR for five years, had
enough of the unstable and unfriendly interface and set about creating his own small-practice EHR. Skip
forward three years, a lot of testing and a little tweaking and the product was officially launched at
the New York EMR Road Show in November, 2005.
So how does that help you, a physician who has been using the tried and tested paper chart method and
now needs to swap to an EHR?
Here’s how MerCure can help:
Stable – designed and tested in a family practice for two years.
We understand you always need to be up and running.
Fast – no one has time to wait, especially not a physician with
a queue of sick patients. With windows opening at a click of a mouse, MerCure makes for quick patient encounters.
Easy to use – got time to navigate through hundreds of pages, just to
complete an encounter? We didn’t think so. All windows are accessible with a single click of the mouse.
Portable – physicians aren’t tied to their desks and neither is MerCure.
Our EHR can be used on laptops and PC tablets throughout a physician’s office.
So for you, a physician that’s nervous about making the change, be assured that we’re there with you,
every step of the way.
